Flexible by nature
Reclaimed sailcloth is soft and flexible, so these bags don't have a rigid shape.
When empty, they can be flattened to approximately 1 cm, making them easy to store or tuck into your luggage. Once filled, the sailcloth naturally expands around the shape of your shoes.
The measurements above show the approximate dimensions of each bag when sitting naturally, as pictured.
 
How much each bag will hold depends on your individual shoe size and style. Trainers, sandals and children's shoes will naturally take up less room than boots or chunky footwear.
As every shoe bag is individually handmade, measurements may vary slightly.

Each bag has a secure zip fastening and useful carrying handle. Because genuine reclaimed sails are used, the exact placement of original stitching, marks and sail details will vary – so no two bags will ever be completely identical.

A note about reclaimed sailcloth
The sails I use have already had a life on the water.
Although the sailcloth is cleaned before being transformed, original stitching, small marks, creases and other signs of its previous life may remain. These aren't flaws – they're part of the sail's story and make every finished piece unique.
