If you bought an item through one of our online marketplaces, their individual refund policies apply.

We follow the return and refund rules set by those platforms. Please reach out to us through the respective site with any issues — we're always happy to help.

🛒 Orders via Our Website

The following policy applies:

Returns

You may return your item within 28 days of receiving it if you're not completely happy.

Conditions for returns:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition.

  • You must inform us in writing within 14 days on delivery

  • After acceptance on our side, you have another 14 days to return the goods 

  • Return postage is your responsibility (unless the item is faulty)

  • Contact us before returning anything

📧 To start a return, email silke@saltsandsunshine.co.uk with your order number and reason.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7 working days to the

original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless due to our error.

Exchanges

Want to swap for something else? Email us — we’ll do our best to arrange an exchange, depending on availability.

❌ Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-made or personalised items

  • Items that have been clearly used, washed, or damaged after arrival

Please remember — many of our items are handmade from pre-loved sailcloth and fabric.

Slight marks or signs of use are part of their unique charm.
